Hollow ground indentations on the blade are a unique and functional addition. They work to create small air pockets through the use of divots, and in turn reduce friction during cuts, making cutting easier than ever. The blade is also conveniently double-beveled and flat ground to a 16 degree angle on each side to provide the best performance possible from every blade.
