I really like this knife! The blade is much heavier than I was expecting. It has a good strong backbone to it, so the blade is not prone to curving or bending in any way when in use. It just cuts straight through without effort. It is also incredibly sharp, right out of the package. My left index finger will attest to that, as I inadvertently touched it against the cutting edge of the blade once. I just barely touched it mind you, but that was enough. I was also impressed by the fact that the blade is not only sharp, but it is sharp right out to the very tip of the blade, which is a very nice feature when carving into a tight corner.
For the money spent here, you can't really go wrong. I may just buy another one for my daughters kitchen.
