Mercer Culinary M22408 Millennia® 8" Offset Serrated Edge Bread / Sandwich Knife

This bread knife is great. Makes cutting bagels and tomatoes very easy. The only reason I did not rank it a 5 star was due to the weight of the knife. I find it to be a bit light. Other then that it is perfect!

Excellent for cutting wraps! We use them everyday, and it should also be regularly sharpened. The blades are rust resistant, and can be easily washed.

Not your ordinary serrated knife! Been using this knife for a few weeks, and it's still one of my sharpest. The curve on the blade is strangely flat for my taste, but everyone in my kitchen fights over this knife, so what do I know.

This knife is very versatile but I love using it for cutting bread and sandwiches.. It cuts easily and it doesn't tear bread or lunch meat and it makes your sandwiches look presentable. This is an excellent choice for any restaurant.

It cuts through bread and sandwiches easily. It is on the light side but it fits my needs perfectly. You can also use this knife for cutting fruit with no damage to the knife.

Another great knife in the Millenia series from Mercer. These are fantastic knives and are one of the best values for your kitchen. This serrated blade is very sharp and will slice through much more than bread.

The offset handle makes this bread knife much more comfortable than an other i have used. I mostly used it for slicing bread and chopping bars of chocolate into chunks. I will note that it made some serious scratches in my (plastic) cutting board when I was cutting chocolate, so maybe don't use it with your fancy cutting board unless you know it can hold up to super sharp knives.

Great knife, I use this for carving sculpted cakes. The offset handle allows for carving without your hand grazing against the cake, its also very light and easy to guide.

Great bread knife for even the novice of cooks. We use it to slice open our sub rolls and to even cut some of our fruits.

I've always preferred offset serrated knives for bread. I use this on a near-daily basis. If I had any complaints about this knife it would be that it is a bit lighter than I expected, but it's not full tang, so it's to be expected.

The serrated sharp edge allows the bread to be cut ( even while still warm) and it doesn't crush the loaf. Good to have several of these in different sizes around the kitchen.

This knife doesn't match the rest of my set but I love that it is offset. This is a great bargain and because it is offset, it is much more efficient.

Great knife for cutting breads, the balance of this knife is spot on and cuts through breads effortlessly. It even cuts hot bread well, just let the knife cut.

The quality of this knife is outstanding . It cuts thru fresh bread, day old bread, toasted bread, sandwiches, cakes and baked goods like "butter". My knife collection is large and I can say by comparison that this is by far one of the best knives I have. it's the real deal.

This serrated is extremely sharp! It might be the best serrated that I have ever used. It cut through veg like a breeze, hard and soft breads like nothing! Having the offset even saves my knuckles from the cutting board! Highly recommended.

I thought my bad cutting skill was why my bread slices were never pretty. My old knife did an OK job cutting bagels and other hard crust bread. But this Asian style bread I am making is very soft and delicate, and I couldn't get a pretty slice until I tried Mercer Millennia 8". It makes a total difference! And it's made in Taiwan. Taiwan makes really good knifes. (And I am from Taiwan :) )

What a great knife for breads. My head baker love to use this knife every single day for our Biscotti. Wash up is great and the handle is easy on the hands.
