I had these old flimsy steak knives that were extremely hard to use so I wanted to replace them. I bought these knifes to try and after just one use, I threw all my old steak knives away and bought more of these. I have learned that it isn't always the best idea to buy for price but to buy for quality. Sometimes, just like I found out about this product, it is cheaper to buy a quality knife than to buy a really cheap one that isn't going to hold up. This has held up wonderfully even after constant use and being washed in the dishwasher. I occasionally use my steel to sharpen it but that isn't that often. I highly recommend this knife if you want a good quality knife that will last for a long time.
These knives are sharp and will do great for meat. Steak or chicken these have no issues cutting. I like the feel, and they are light. Well made and made in USA
