Steeping Instructions:
Bring fresh cold water to a boil. Pour water over the tea bag, and steep for 4 minutes. Remove the tea bag. For iced tea, steep a little longer and pour over ice.

Suggested Recipe: Spicy Chai Poached Pears
12 Steep Cafe by Bigelow organic black chai tea pyramid sachets
8 cups boiling water
2 cups sugar
4 pears, peeled and cored
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup honey
Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Orange zest

Over medium heat, add boiling water to large saucepan. Add Steep Cafe by Bigelow organic black chai tea pyramid sachets and steep for 5 minutes. Add sugar and bring the mixture to just under a boil. Once the sugar has dissolved, add the pears. Reduce to a simmer and poach pears for 15-20 minutes until they are soft. Reserve liquid and cool to room temperature. Mix mascarpone, vanilla, heavy cream, and honey together. Thin mixture with 3 tbsp. of the reserved liquid. Place 1 cup of the reserved liquid and orange zest in a heavy saucepan, and bring it to a boil. Reduce liquid to 2/3 of a cup. Place 2 tbsp. of the liquid mixture on each plate, place a pear on top, and drizzle with cheese sauce. Garnish with mint leaves.
