I bought a 65qt wheeled Catergator cooler because I was looking to upgrade to a rotomolded cooler. We do a lot of camping and trips often go 2-3 nights being remote away from sources of ice. The Catergator looked like a good quality cooler for the price when compared to the other big name coolers that cost 2x as much. I currently have a different brand 5 Day cooler that we've used for years and generally lasts 2-3 days of real use. I spent months researching coolers and checking them out at every place I could think of for comparisons. I decided to take chance on this because I could only get online and the other brand was well outside the budget. I honestly was blown away once received. Built like a tank, high quality gasket, even wheels are very heavy duty and sturdy rivits hold in the rope handles. I dare anyone to find any better quality cooler like this for less.

Our Cater Gator just arrive after ordering it only 3 days ago! It is very impressive looking and feels super sturdy! Love all the features: wheels, stainless hardware, color (grey is much nicer looking in person) and so much more! Definitely got our monies worth! Can’t wait to use it and will add another review then!

This is the first cooler that we have had that is this big with wheels to make it so convenient to move. The cooler has a 24 inch ruler and two cup holders to hold beverages. I love the Seafoam color, it looks great. The drain makes this big cooler so easy to clean and the plug is attached with a chain to prevent you from losing it.

I would like to say the CatorGator 65 Quart cooler performed performed as I expected it to perform. I loaded it with $333.00 of frozen meat on the 24th of April and opened the chest on the 30th of April. Only the top 3rd was dethawed but still very cold. Loaded it in the freezer and my wife and I are happy as clams with the purchase of our CatorGator 65 Qt cooler. Thank you webstaurant for this great cooler.

Great cooler for the price. Wheels included is a bonus . You will save money just buying it for the wheel. Lifting a cooler is back breaking and just dangerous...

Very disappointed with this product. The rope handle to pull this cooler is extremely inadequate. Far too short to be used as a pull handle. Once loaded with ice and beverages, it almost becomes a two person job to move it. Used it once and will not use it again. Unfortunately I was advised by customer service to try and sell it on my own since there is no return option due to putting ice in it..

My favorite cooler disappeared at a tailgate. I searched for a while for a replacement and found this seemingly rock-solid, wheeled 65 at an amazing price. Five days of free-shipping from AZ to FL later, i just received it via FedEx. It IS a rock-solid, perfect-mid-sized, 10-day cooler, with heavy wheels and 100% usable interior space (no wheel cavities that make your beers fall over!). Its a REALLY good replacement for a Yeti (Yeti has no wheels this size either) AT LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE! A great deal, great service, great product! I couldn't be happier -

This cooler works great for keeping ice for many hours. We use crushed nugget ice at our restaurant, so it has a tendency to melt quicker if you aren't careful. This cooler does a good job keeping the ice for caterings.

It keeps things cold alright, I'm not testing ice retention by the day or anything. But it is a big step up from our old cooler. My issue is with the latches, wheels and handles. They are terribly designed. I had been holding out buying a new rotomolded cooler until I could find one with wheels. They are very rare for some reason. The wheel clearance is next to nothing. Maybe a half inch of space. So even to roll it on our totally flat garage for you have to hold it at just the right very awkward angle to get it to roll. The non- rigid handle makes it hard to keep the perfect angle so you end up dragging it. And if you need to roll it on terrain that is even slightly uneven, the wheels won't work at all. Ordered our cooler Friday morning and it showed up at noon the following day before noon! (Granted we only live a few hours away from the distributor I was shocked to get it the following day!) the cooler looks amazing, the wheels work just fine and its ice retention is great!

As good as that big name brand. Keeps ice for well over day, even in 90-100 heat.

This cooler does a great job in keeping items cold with ice packs . They can stay frozen for approximately 24 hours after that the cooler stays cool but ice melts . So the advertised 10 days and some of the tests that I’ve seen that advertise 7 days for ice to remain aren’t accurate. It’s a durable and heavy cooler . No issues with the durability. And for the short term it keeps items very cold . However if you’re looking for an excess of 24/36 hours for ice it won’t keep it .

This cooler worked well at first, but after about a year, the lid began to lift at the edges and has only gotten worse. It was always stored indoors — either in the garage or in air conditioning — so this wasn’t due to rough use or exposure. This deformation obviously affects the seal and ice doesn't last longer than a day. Everything else seems to be in good working order but a cooler that doesn't keep things cool is a problem. When I reached out to customer service, they advised me to place something heavy on the lid to try and flatten it, since the lid isn’t replaceable and the warranty only lasts 90 days. I’ll update this review if I find a fix, but I’m not holding my breath.

I took this cooler on a 5 day camping trip, using frozen bottles of water as ice packs to keep seafood, meat, vegetables, butter, etc. I'm very pleased with how well the cooler held cold temperatures. From being repeatedly opened & closed, the water & food on the top eventually reached refrigerator temperatures (after at least 3 days), but the water bottles and adjacent food on the bottom remained hard-frozen. I did have a little leaking from the drain plug; I'm not certain if I simply didn't have it secured tightly enough or if it's an actual defect, so I'll have to test that out. Incidentally, yes the cooler is heavy, so I prechilled and filled it while it was in the car, and I kept it in the (warm!) car the whole trip. Empty, it's easy to carry with the rope handles and/or wheels. You probably can't find better coolerfor the price - and heck, the camo color is fun and different.

Cooler is well insulated and built quite sturdy as it is a true rotomold unit. Wheels are very solid and will last for sure. My concern is the rubber latches. They require substantial force to open and close. If you expect kids to open or close the cooler, forget about it. I'm an adult male and have to exert considerable hand/finger force to "pop" the rubber latches on and off their stops. Maybe this is a good thing if you don't want kids in the cooler, but if you have older folks or younger kids as expected users of this cooler I would be cautious. I have used many rotomold coolers and this one has the most difficult latches of them all. Otherwise, this cooler is an excellent value when compared to current market offerings.

I searched for quite some time, reviewing and following up on reviews of 'other' brand name coolers, that are of the best quality... I decided to take a chance on this one, which I am pleased I did, as I will be ordering more. Overall great cooler, which seems to be built to the same high standards of the other expensive brands- the smallest of details matter.

Bought this cooler last spring so I wanted to make sure we had really tested it before writing a review. I pre-cool it with frozen gallons of water the night before we go on a trip, take those out, pack the cooler, and top it with ice. It does such a great job! My kids are in and out of the cooler constantly and it keeps things cold all weekend!

I bought this cooler to keep drinks cold in the scorching NC sun. It works great, with several days of ice retention. The cooler itself is very well built and a fraction of the cost of similar coolers. The convenient attached wheels allow us to move the cooler around with ease, even when full.

This is my first cooler of this "caliber", so I can't compare to other products that are in the same class. BUT, you can see from my pics that it does keep ice fairly well. I am in the southern part of Texas, it's mid-July (hot as heck), and I kept the cooler in our garage, which is easy 85+ degrees in there. I opened it a few times each day, so you can take that into consideration as well. For my family, this cooler is definitely a keeper. Do I need it to hold ice for 10 days? No. I don't think that it would based on my last photo. But it is still a keeper in my book. And for the price, you definitely can't beat it. I would high suggest this if you're looking to get a good quality cooler but don't wanna shell out hundreds of dollars.

Perfect product. Ordered this one & 20 qt with this one on wheels for easy transport. Plan to use it for our airstream rv adventures as nothing else we have will keep ice cold. Despite the unit having wheels to lug around, one has to really have some good strength to lug around the cooler. Did alot of online research and this was the only cooler that had all the features I wanted and at the lowest price. It has met all my expectations. Very sturdy build quality. Wheels are durable and very convenient for transport. Rope handles allow for easy drop-in and pull-out in tight spaces. Items stayed frigid on a recent 2-day trip. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

This cooler did a very good job on keeping ice. I used it to get 60 pounds of ground beef home from a 5 hour trip and it keep it at below 40 degrees. and the wheels are awesome.

This cooler appeared to have great features. Since I am using it as a household cooler I am comparing this roto-molded cooler to the available competition. My issues are, 1) I used the cooler for an event in which I loaded about 40 pre-chilled drinks. I put in 20 lbs of ice and we opened the cooler several times on the first day. I wanted to see how long the ice lasted so I watched the progress for 3 days. On day 3 there was no ice and the cooler was in an air conditioned home at 75 Degrees. This is a fantastic product. I have looked at coolers for some time. I have been looking for a good value where quality meets price and I believe that I have done so in this purchase. The product is extremely well-built, fit and finish is very nice. I'm very impressed with this product it is a fraction of the cost of some of the more well marketed unit's. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will probably be buying more in the future.
