I ordered several different flavors of Big Train mixes to try. Some are fantastic, while some are not so great. This one was just OK. It was only slightly reminiscent of horchata and could have definitely had more flavor. More spice, like cinnamon, would have been nice, but I can add that myself. I will enjoy the rest of this bag, but will probably not repurchase.

Horchata is a flavor that my family was a little unsure of when we ordered, not having it before. We were pleasantly surprised when we whipped up a few frappes with it, as it tastes like Cinnamon Toast crunch cereal! Needless to say, the kids love it and ask for one almost everyday. It blends best on a medium setting so that it sets up a little thicker and isn't as runny, as well as topping it with whip cream! It isn't a granular mix so you do not have to worry about grains of sugar, etc

Big Train is a great product but a little pricey for home use. My family and friends love it and I can get about 4 gallons of base finished product from every bag. Add to that the extras and finish touches and syrups and you have a winning combination.
