Waring WSG60 3 Cup Commercial Spice Grinder - 120V

The design of this grinder is faulty. Two small protrusions at the edge of the plastic cover have to be wedged into two slots on the side before the motor will engage. It's difficult to do that, especially because the cover is large and so it can be hard to get a good grip on it. Mine got chipped. Maybe it was always rough on one side; it was certainly always difficult to fit the cover into the slots. Now, even though it is within warranty and Waring should just send me a new cover, they want me to bring the grinder to some shop and leave it and have it "looked at to see if that part was defective and blah blah blah we are not taking any responsibility for our faulty design." This thing grinds well when you can get the cover on. As for Waring, I won't be buying anything else from them.

Terrible. Has broken twice. Motor burns out. Replacement burned out. Webrestaurantstore is not responsive

That small coupling wears down reall fast, and is hard to find. Very dissapointed.

Absolutely the best. We've used numerous small impact grinders over the years. The WSG60 is the best. We have used two of these weekly to grind over 4 tons of seasonings and herbs in the past 3 years. Yes, it can be difficult to get the top to close, but as the grinder breaks in this problem goes away. We have replaced the grinding bowls 3 times now but have had no trouble finding them. Do note, this is an impact mill. The impellers are not sharp nor should they be.

I've been using this for a year now to grind black peppercorns. I love it! Waring makes really good quality appliances that last forever. I've been using (and abusing) a Waring food processor for years, so I had high hopes for this spice grinder. I can already tell it's a sturdy little work horse. Highly recommend! If you have arthritic hands or weakness in your hands, I would not recommend this. The plastic guard screws on and off *very* tightly, and I've found it hard to get off sometimes.

I don't understand any mediocre reviews of this product,. No problems at all with this grinder in daily use. Much more powerful than small spice grinders, can take on the toughest of seeds with ease.

I purchased two grinders for my new spice shop. I put one into service and kept the other in storage for future use. The grinder grinds hard seeds like annato as well as it powders oregano and cumin. The seal in the lid removes easily for washing and the cups are easily removed and replaced. The motor is good and strong. I was careful with my purchase. Particularly because I had read another review stating that his lid had chipped. There certainly is a design flaw. The lid is plastic and has stress where the lid locks into the body. We needed a grinder for our artisan mixes. We found this one to be very good. It performs well. We sometimes have to grind 50+ lbs of demerara sugar for our mixes and we get a 50lb bag done in less than an hour. It grinds it uniformly into tiny particles allowing us to use a sugar not normally used in mixes. We are very happy with our purchase. We have literally ground lbs upon lbs of stuff in our grinder.

VERY heavy duty piece of equipment. We have gone through several other brands but this one is the only one that can handle very hard spices.

If you grind some of your own spices like I do, this is a fantastic product. Powerful enough & big enough (3 cups) to handle any reasonable job, it is also relatively easy to clean.

This waring grinder works great! The cleanup is super easy! It grinds REGAL Black peppercorns like a CHAMP! We love it! Make sure to check out the extra cups to go with it if you grind a lot! Well worth the extra money !!!

This is a really solid machine and the motor is super heavy. It seems to be super high quality. The lid can be hard to get unlocked. Otherwise great product.
