Waring WSG30 1.5 Cup Commercial Spice Grinder - 120V

Pls. Don't buy this product. I just received the product and I am greatly disappointed with it. It's started burning in my first use when iam grinding my peppercorns. Iam waiting for my money refund

Just received this spice grinder. Was very pleased it came with 3 spice grinder detachable cups. The unit feels sturdy and looks quality built. Unfortunately after about 30 seconds of pulsing the motor started smoking! This is advertised as commercial and literally started smoking after grinding a half cup of kosher salt. I have ordered many other Waring products and I know they can do better than this. I'm hoping I just got a defective unit. I would like this replaced or refunded.

Way underpowered motor. I was grinding dried peppers, then switched to dried herbs. Hand crushed at first, then run through a blender, then into the tiny cup. Ground herbs up nicely, at first. 10 seconds, everything was powder. Perfect. After about 20 minutes of 10 seconds on, 30 or more seconds off, the motor started making a funny sound, then smell, then smoke. I can't imagine what nuts, cinnamon or nutmeg would do to it. Based on other reviews, it looks like there was a bad batch of motors that got into circulation and unfortunately, it looks like i got one of them.

Not recommended for the price. Bought this less than a year ago and it has already stopped working. We only use it every other week or so, and mostly for grinding black pepper and fennel seeds. Not at all durable, might as well buy 3 cheaper models.

Great product. Heavy duty. Saves me time by being able to do larger quantities. The extra cups are great for storing my rib rubs in that I make.

I make my own bird food and for the smaller birds I have to grind up the food so they can eat it. for over a year now I have been burning up the motors in the grinders that I have used. about one new grinder a month just trying to make 25 lbs of food. I purchased this spice grinder for my wholesale bakery. It gets used frequently and has performed well. The extra grinding cups with lids are very useful for storing unused spices. I'd buy this item again. I would give it a 5 star rating if the grinding cups were a bit larger.

I bought it few years back. Its straight garage by waring. It first broke in few months. Fixed it few time but broke everytime.

AVOID Buying this grinder!! It started to smell like burning plastic on the first day of use. I paid to expedite shipping - now I do not have working grinder for holidays, customer service refuses to accept returns. They offered the replacement from manufacturer sometime in the next couple weeks. Very disappointed, I need a refund. Please consider another option.

This thing is a beast. It can get a good grind on relatively small quantities of spice and handle a full cup of whole nutmegs. The removable and washable parts are so worth it. My only complaint is that the plastic lid is pretty brittle and cracks very easily.

This thing is a beast! Used to grind annato seeds several times a week. Annato is basically like tiny pebbles, and almost impossible to grind. This thing is almost indestructible

This product is heavy duty enough for everyday restaurant use, and small and convenient enough that you can freshly grind spices everyday for maximum freshness. We have extra lids/cups on hand for storage.

This thing works great so far. Turns our whole spices into powders in no time. This is hold a ton of spices, we were debating on if we should have got the larger one, but am happy we went with this size.

Waring make excellent quality equipment at very reasonable prices. This spice grinder does the job perfectly and stands up to daily use in our high-end commercial kitchen.

I love this spice grinder, it will take anything that I put into it. It does a very good job at getting a consistent texture. The only thing I do not like about it is that I can be hard to clean the base on the inside. Other than that I love it and will most likely buy the larger model.

This grinder gets the job done. It is very easy to use and easy to clean. Unfortunately, it comes apart rather easily too. You have to give some sweat to get it back together properly, but it’s possible. Still worth the price.

This was a lot more powerful and came with more containers than I thought. I love it. Being able to grind any spice I want fresh gives me great flexibility and freshness with all of my spices. You can make your spices coarse or very fine, it is up to you.
