This pan is sturdy, well made and made in the USA. I bought it to boil down maple sap into maple syrup and it worked out great for it. This pan also performed very well to being on a large propane burner for hours at a time. I Highly recommend Vollrath products.

The Super Pan anti-jam hotel pans are incredible. Super sturdy and they DON'T JAM. I'm currently moving exclusively to these to save the time and trouble of separating my old cheap pans.
I love the depth and size of this Vollrath Super pan3. They are made very we'll and very smooth. I like using this for my sous vide cooking that requires larger containers and holds very well at higher temperature. I like to use stainless steel for higher temperature instead of polycarbonate clear plastic because I'm afraid that the plastic may crack or break and spill all the hot water all over the counter. That would not be fun cleaning all that hot water on my counter and I would not be happy if it happened at night when I'm sleeping. So this stainless steel pan work great and gives me peace of mind while cooking with sous vide. I recently cooked corned beef brisket and everyone loved it. Highly recommend for my sous vide cooking.

We use this as a pasta cooker. These pans hold up to direct stove use like you wouldn't believe. The extra depth 8" provides makes it a great pan for our needs
