This rethermalizer is very easy to use and heats the food very quickly and evenly. We purchased these kettles in both 7qt and 11qt specifically for oatmeal - which has been working very nicely. The kettle shape and copper metal is a really nice touch in the right setting - it definitely stands out against the stainless steel look that is most common in the catering and hospitality business. What I really like about the kettle is that the power cord connects at the very bottom so you can rotate the kettle to hide the heat dial to the side or facing the wall. There is also an 11qt inset sold by Vollrath that allows the kettle to also accommodate a larger pot when needed.
