Vollrath 47742 Intrigue 4.25 Qt. Stainless Steel Sauce Pan with Aluminum-Clad Bottom

Unboxing this was like Christmas morning. Brilliant finish. Heavy duty pot. Rivet construction makes me believe this will last a lifetime. Would definitely look to this line again when making another purchase.

The Vollrath is a great product. it is heavier than the vigor if you want heavy. the bottom is thick it's a well made sauce pot. and I love the helper handle.

We just received 2 of these for our small cafe to be used on induction plates. They are exactly what we were looking for and needed. Great quality sturdy item that we will definitely reorder if we need to expand!

This pan has been a great boon to our production. We are a small batch, gourmet confectionary/bakery company with little resources. So the purchase of this pan was a big deal. Not only does the pan conduct heat brilliantly, the caramel is the same temp throughout the pan, throughout the entire cooking process. This yields a perfect batch every time! My partner bought one, too. If there were more stars in the rating system here, this pan would get 'em all.

This is a good quality pan for the price. The walls are sturdy, the base thick and even heating. It should easily last a lifetime. I slightly prefer a tri-ply pan like the Tribute but didn’t want to spend twice as much for the same functionality. I also bought the matching lid. It’s heavy and well engineered, and fits the pan perfectly.

Wow is this a heavy duty large pan! We were hauling around hot grease in other pans and I was getting nervous. The handle doesn't get hot, and the helper handle makes are the difference.

The Vollrath Intrique 3.25 Qt. Sauce Pan is heavy weight and durable, it doesn’t rust, dent or break easily and it heats evenly. Nothing sticks to the bottoms and it is easy to clean. The price is fantastic for the quality. I would highly recommend this.

These pans are the best. I needed a pan that I could use on an induction burner to make my small batch caramels. It has a nice heavy bottom and it worked great.

The pan is much heavier than I had anticipated with a very thick bottom. It heat evenly. Comfortable ergonomic handle.

This a GREAT sauce pan!!!! The helper handle is very nice to have and helps when the pan is full of food. I like everything about the Intrigue line of cookware I own several other pieces and continue to be pleased with their performance at every use.

Outstanding product! Holds up to abuse and provides consistent performance. It's easy to clean and holds up strong. No pitting of the metal and no warping of the metal. Great product!

The Vollarath Intrigue Series is awesome. This pan compares favorably to the Sitram Profiserie series. It looks almost identical, having the type of handle, the same quality of welds, and the same type of disc bottom (it doesn't fully extend to the edge). The difference is that the Vollrath is considerably heavier and the bottom appears to be about 30% thicker. The size of this pan makes it very versatile. I'm a home cook, and for someone looking to build a cookware collection, it's a great starting point.
