To load the Straw Boss, remove the cover and drop your wrapped straws right in. Once straws are removed by your guests, the others drop into the dispensing bar naturally, without the use of a lever or mechanism.

Definitely a must for our lemonade business. We use the appropriate straws and works great. Looks good on counter also. Glad we bought it from Webstrant
Worth every single penny - even for home use! Here's why: I don't run a restaurant, but we use a lot of straws at our house. Kids, sick bed, neck injury, entertaining, smoothies, etc. I used to keep the straws in an open box on the pantry shelf. Convenient, but hardly sanitary. So I purchased an upright glass dispenser. It was more sanitary, looked nice, and it saved on counter space. Unfortunately, it was a pain to use. It was clumsy and tippy, and required both hands. Kids couldn't operate it at all from the countertop. It didn't hold a lot of straws, either. So then came the acrylic dispenser with the turn knobs. That one never dispensed properly and it broke after a few weeks. I considered a restaurant dispenser for a long time, but felt they were too expensive for home use. I shopped ebay for a used one.
