Questions & Answers
Looking For Specific Info? Get quick answers to product questions with our AI-powered search.
Can I use this condiment dispenser for condiments with particles?
Food product with particles (such as relish, tartar sauce, etc.) are not recommended for use in this pump.
Can I use this condiment dispenser to keep condiments temperature regulated?
This pump is not insulated and is not intended to maintain cold temperatures.
How do I prevent the pump from sputtering?
The speed of pumping can cause some sputtering so we recommend pumping slowly if you experience any sputtering. We recommend refilling the dispenser when it’s about 1/4 full. Because pumps don’t touch the very bottom of the container, it’s normal to experience some sputtering when the condiment level is low. Refilling the container before it goes below 1/4 full should help prevent sputtering.
How often do you recommend I clean my pump?
We recommend cleaning, rinsing, sanitizing, and drying parts at a minimum of every 24 hours. If using condiments that are prone to drying up or are thick, it’s especially important to clean the pump regularly to prevent clogging.
What types of condiments can I use with this pump?
According to the manufacturer, this pump will handle standard condiments like ketchup and mustard, but it is not recommended for dispensing condiments that contain solid / thick chunks, like salsa. Condiments that contain seeds and chunks of peppercorn are also not recommended, as the seeds can cause the pump to jam. When dispensing thicker condiments, such as mayonnaise, daily pump cleaning is highly recommended to avoid clogging.
Which portion collars do I use to get my desired portion amount?
To adjust the portions dispensed, use the correlating portion collars. 1 fl. oz. (1 big collar) 0.75 fl. oz. (1 big collar + 1 small collar) 0.66 fl. oz. (2 big collars) 0.5 fl. oz. (2 big collars, 1 small) 0.33 fl. oz. (3 big collars)
Why does this pump's locking collar become loose?
Due to the nature of condiment dispensers experiencing force on the components, the locking collar requires regular retightening. We recommend checking the locking collar daily and tightening it as needed.
We are using this dispenser for chocolate and strawberry syrup in our ice cream business. The part which gets depressed on one of the pumps has fallen off twice during the first week of use. Our maintenance guy fixed it for the second time this week and said that we can expect is to break again soon because it is poorly constructed. The pump that we are using for the strawberry syrup spatters everywhere, and it is impossible to keep the area clean.
The syrup dispenser that we bought prior to this one lasted us for 10 years. We will be replacing this one soon. What a disappointment. I thought that for the price, the quality of the dispenser would be better.

Don’t let this brand confuse you with the better brand.
I didn’t pay attention when buying server pumps and bought this one. Same thing, right? Not at all.
Pumps aren’t consistent, even with proper lube and assembly. The whole point is portion control and it makes a mess. I can’t use this in my business. It’s a waste of money. I now have to buy the better brand. Don’t waste your money like I did.
