Robot Coupe CL52E NODISC Details

If your restaurant slices, dices, grates, or purees a lot of fresh ingredients on a daily basis, this Robot Coupe CL52 continuous feed food processor is the perfect way to cut down on prep time and boost productivity in your kitchen! With a powerful 2 hp motor, this robust unit packs the requisite power and torque to handle up to 1500 servings in 3 hours or less. Its build includes a durable base and an industrial induction motor with a stainless steel motor shaft and blades that will hold up to the demands of commercial operations. The CL52 comes with a continuous feed attachment to further increase prep speed, and is compatible with an incredible range of discs (sold separately). Purchase discs for slicing, grating, shredding, and even ripple cutting to make this unit as multi-functional as possible!

This processor bowl features large hopper designs that are well-suited to processing bulk batches of a particular ingredient, with one 6 7/8" diameter full moon hopper for big bulky items like cabbage or tomatoes, and one 2 5/16" diameter cylindrical hopper to accommodate long or delicate vegetables like cucumbers, carrots, and mushrooms. Simply place a container beneath the feed chute to catch processed foods and you can get right to work! As an added space-saving feature, the processor utilizes lateral ejection, so you can place a bowl or storage container directly on the side of the unit as it transfers product into the container. Additionally, the lid and pusher design eliminates potential catch areas where food particles could accumulate, making cleaning and sanitation as easy as possible. It's also compact in size, which makes it suitable for establishments that have limited counterspace. And because it disassembles, you can easily store it away when not use. The food processor requires a 120V connection for operation.

    This machine is a workhorse. So heavyweight and durable, great at cranking out veggies in a flash. Only gripes is that food can easy get stuck in the edge corners of the blades, which are not easy to clean and avoiding slicing your finger. The other gripe is that I wish there was a better storage option for all the components. The triangles they include for storing the blades are cumbersome and bulky.

    We might send this back. First it comes with a slicing disk and a grating disk which is great. The only problem is that when we received the item neither disk was included in the box. So we had to contact webstaurant and request them. Then the grating disk came in the mail but the slicing disk did not. So i had to contact webstaurant again. They told me the slicing disk was back ordered and they didn't know when they would get it in. This is kind of rough since this is a pricey piece of equipment. I spoke to someone on the phone and asked if they have any more robot coupes in stock and to break open a box and send me the disk asap. We opened in days and I needed the disk.
