This trimmer features a rotating rear handle with 5 positions for comfort during vertical and angle trimming as well as a reverse function that clears jams. It's designed with IPX4 weather-resistant construction for durability and longer equipment life and features XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), which protects the unit from excess dirt, debris, water, or mud during intense jobs. This item is compatible with Makita 40V MAX XGT lithium-ion batteries and chargers (sold separately) for up to 4 hours of run time per charge and is only for use with Makita batteries and chargers.
