Complete cutting and trimming jobs with the power, performance, and durability of the Makita 18V LXT 13" cordless string trimmer with battery and charger! This trimmer's powerful brushless motor delivers all the power of a gas-powered unit with zero emissions, quieter operating volume, and reduced maintenance. The rapid-load bump and feed trimmer head line is designed to load easily with 3 steps. Take care of large or small jobs with a 13" cutting swath, high / low button, variable speed trigger, and up to 6,000 RPM of cutting power. This arborist's trimming tool is compatible with Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries and chargers for up to 1 hour of run time per charge.
This trimmer features XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), which protects the unit from excess dirt, debris, water, or mud during intense jobs. It's also equipped with Star Protection computer controls to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. This trimmer is only for use with Makita batteries and chargers.
This trimmer weighs 6.6 lb. with the battery in place for reduced operator fatigue and includes (1) 18V LXT lithium-ion 4.0 Ah battery and 1 charger. The battery features an LED indicator that shows the charge level clearly as well as an impact-resistant outer case and shock-absorbing inner liner that is engineered to protect the battery and ensure it remains securely attached to the tool. The charger allows the batteries to reach a full charge in just 40 minutes.
