Equip your toolbox with this Klein Tools voltage tester pen. This non-contact pen detects standard AC voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and wires. It can also detect low voltage in security, entertainment, communications, environmental control, and irrigation systems. This dual-range tool is capable of detecting AC voltage from 12V to 1,000V or 70V to 1,000V AC, and it has a frequency range of 50 to 500 Hz.

This unit is easy to use with simple push buttons, and it has an enhanced LED interface with a light indicator to mark the range being used for testing. When voltage is detected, the tip illuminates red and it emits a continuous audible beep. A green light indicates no voltage. It also includes an integrated flashlight to illuminate your jobsite. This flashlight can be operated independently from the voltage detection function.

This unit is dustproof and waterproof with a durable, IP67-rated polycarbonate construction, and it is drop tested for up to 6 1/2'. It is compact and light weight with a heavy-duty pocket clip for convenient storage and transport. This voltage tester pen meets CAT IV 1000V standards. It comes with (2) AAA batteries for operation, which provide up to 125 hours of use. An auto power-off feature helps conserve battery life. The screw-thread battery cap has an O-ring, ensuring protection against dust and water.
