Equip your toolbox with this Klein Tools voltage tester pen. This non-contact pen detects standard AC voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and wires. It should not be used for testing tamper-resistant outlets. This tool is capable of detecting AC voltage from 50V to 1,000V, and it has a frequency range of 50 to 500 Hz. It is easy to use with a simple on / off button. When voltage is detected, it emits a high-intensity, bright red LED light and a continuous audible beep.

This unit features a durable polymer construction with an IP40 rating, and it is drop tested for up to 6 1/2'. It is compact and light weight with a pocket clip for convenient storage and transport. This voltage tester pen meets CAT IV 1000V standards. It comes with (2) AAA batteries for operation, and it includes an auto power-off feature to conserve battery life. A bright green LED light clearly indicates when the tester is powered on.
