What is the best way to care for my melamine item?
In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units. Filled it up with water and weighed it, only got 17oz of fluid filled to the brim. Definitely not a 24oz bowl. This one is more like a 16oz bowl. That, or I received the wrong product. Does say 24oz on the side of the box.

These are great bowls for side dishes, like rice - perfect size, and very durable. Easy to clean and do not stain. Stack nicely so they don't take up much space and hold up well. Great value for the price. Would recommend to others and would purchase again.
