Make short work of chopping, mixing, or blending jobs right in the bowl or stock pot with this Galaxy heavy-duty variable speed immersion blender! Boasting a 16" stainless steel blending shaft that allows you to blend, crush, chop, and puree foods with ease, this heavy-duty blender is a versatile tool that every commercial kitchen needs. Great for soups, sauces, batters, or mousses, this unit boasts 750W of power and a 1 hp motor for blending products from 4,000-16,000 RPM. It is capable of blending up to 32 gallons of product.
To provide the operator with full control, this blender features a variable speed mechanism that allows you to adjust the rate at which you're whipping or emulsifying your products using the control knob on top of the handle. For user safety, the unit requires two buttons to be pressed to start the unit, but once running, the lock button can be pressed for continuous operation without needing to hold any buttons. The blending shaft easily detaches from the base so that it can be cleaned and stored efficiently. This also makes it simple to mix and match this unit with a compatible whisk attachment or blending shaft of any size (sold separately). This unit requires a 120V, 1 phase electrical connection for operation.

Why won’t the attachment shaft stay connected to my immersion blender?
The attachments for this immersion blender have an interlocking mechanism that keeps the attachment secure to the power pack. When installing the immersion blender arm or whisk, twist the power pack and attachment in opposing directions until you hear / feel them click into place.
We have used about five of these for our restaurants. They work great for about a year, then they stop working. It seems to stop working right about when the warranty runs out so you either get a replacement one or you go past the warranty period. Would not recommend. Looking for alternatives that last longer than a year.

This immersion blender has been working great for us. It has been used daily for the past year and a half and we've had no issues. Th only remark I have is the plastic gear inside of the shaft is beginning to wear down, but his is to be expected given how often it is used, disassembled and reassembled
