    I have Use this sharpener before, I am buying one for myself in a couple of days I called the manufacturing company and they said that it grinds at 11° that is perfect for me I do not like 20 or 30 or higher I like the Japanese style of grind between 10 and 13° This is a wonderful grinder heavy duty does the job that is supposed to do I grind a lot of knives every day because I cook a lot do a lot of barbecuing so cutting is constant it’s wonderful to see a product made very well it’s hard to find that everything is made from plastic now it’s unfortunate this is made here in the United States I will always buy from the US I don’t buy from foreign countries anybody that buys this product will be happy with your purchase guaranteed, John

    I own one of these units. With a little care, and some practice, this unit can obtain decent results. Your edges wont be polished, but they will cut most produce and meat in the kitchen. I do warn you, blades can be burned, and the duty cycle is 15 min ON with 15 minutes OFF. If you plan on using this commercially, just don't let those blades get too hot!
