Good knife sharpeer, being able to remove the sharpener head and wash in the dishwaser or sink. This sharpener has replaceable knife blade stops that can be changed out over time, when the blades begin to cut into the bottom too much. The older cheaper model does not have this feature, and when the blades start cutting in too far into the plastic bar below, you have to send the whole unit in to be redone, or buy another one.
