Optimal Sanitation
Using electric tank heat, this dish machine is low-temperature. This particular machine sanitizes with chemicals. As such, both chemical pumps and a sanitizer sensing indicator are standard. The indicator alerts the user when the sanitizer needs to be refilled.
Versatile Loading
It has a 14 7/16" door opening, making it easy to load. 2 dish racks come standard, including 1 peg and 1 combination type dish rack. With both types available, you can wash a variety of bowls, plates, and other dishes.
Thorough Wash Cycle
The low-profile revolving upper and lower wash arms spray water onto the dishes, combining with detergent (sold separately) for a thorough wash. They are designed to be anti-clogging for reduced maintenance. As the soapy water knocks off food particles, they collect in a 3-part stainless steel scrap screen, which is easy to remove and empty. The arms then disperse rinse water, washing away the soap. The automatic pumped drain removes wash and rinse water at the end of the cycle.

I have a lot of limestone in my water. Is there anything I can do to resolve this without damaging my dishwasher?
A delimer, such as Noble Lime B Gone (item number 147LIMEBGONE1G), should be run routinely to diminish lime scale buildup throughout the lifespan of the machine. Be sure to cycle your machine 4-5 times after running the de-lime cycle. Also be sure to leave the door ajar to allow for steam release if the machine will not be used for a while after de-liming.
I would highly advise against this unit. I have had multiple problems and Hobart has not responded once to numerous attempts to obtain service. I bought this unit beach I thought that Hobart was a respected name but, it seems like it no longer is.
