Overall, this is a very good lump charcoal. That said, it's subject to handling issues in transit. Ours had a lot of crushed coal/fine particles that tend to really flare up. I recommend it overall and I'm sure it would be even better if we had been able to pick it up instead of having it shipped.

Incredible deal! This lump charcoal has the biggest pieces of lump hardwood I’ve encountered. I’ve smoked snacked sticks and cooked pizza and this stuff just kept burning. Great deal if you need lump hardwood.
Crushed up charcoal dust doesn’t burn. This is complete garbage. There was absolutely no “lump” to this product, just pulverized charcoal pieces. AND THEY WONT ACCEPT A RETURN...fun way to waste money

This is some of the best lump charcoal I've used. The pieces are very large size, with smaller ones too obviously. But they give a great flavor to whatever you cook over it
Hardwood charcoal is the best. These are way better than briquettes. These burn hotter and longer. I just wish the pieces were a more consistent size. You get some huge pieces and some tiny ones. They light pretty easily anyways, not quite as easily as briquettes though.
Beautiful, large chunk hardwood charcoal. Makes big beautiful embers that burn and burn. Good heat distribution, and easy to light, these are my go to.
These lump charcoal pieces are a large size and really like small logs or pieces of wood in charcoal form! It's fun to have because once you get them started they will stay burning for a long time and look pretty cool too!
