How do I adjust the settings on this scale?
In normal weighing mode, hold the “Power” and “Tare” keys simultaneously until the scale displays “Setup”. On the following screens, use the “Tare” key to cycle through your options, and “Power” to make your selection. The scale will move to the next screen after you complete your selection.
AoFF (Auto-Off) – select a number of minutes from 1 – 9. 0 keeps the scale on unless manually turned off.
BLE (Backlight) – 0 = backlight always off, 1= backlight always on, 2 = backlight is auto on and auto off when the customer presses the scale and weighs something.
PE (Wave Tare Sensitivity) - select a value from 0 – 8. 0 disables the wave tare function. 1 is the lowest sensitivity and requires the closest distance to the scale. 8 is the highest sensitivity and activates it further away. Default value is 5.
After making a wave tare selection, the scale will recalibrate and return to normal weighing mode.

These NSF-certified scales can weigh in pounds, kilograms, ounces, or grams. Each scale features a sturdy ABS plastic body with a stainless steel platform. This platform is removable, making it easy to clean.
These portion control scales come in a variety of sizes. The digital model has an eight and three-fifths inch by seven and a half-inch platform. The compact digital model is smaller, at six by six inches. The round digital model is six and three-tenths inches across. For larger-scale needs, rely on the oversized, eleven and three-quarter by nine inch model. This model has adjustable feet and a leveling bubble for an accurate, level surface. There is even a waterproof scale for added flexibility!
To make operation simple, these scales are controlled by a few buttons: on/off, unit, and tare. The digital scale also has a hold button. Each measurement is shown on a large LCD display.
For power, an AC adapter is provided with each scale, but batteries can also be used. During battery-powered operation, each scale automatically shuts off after five minutes of inactivity.

This scale works great once you turn OFF the wave function. Press and hold ON/OFF and TARE keys until the scale displays "SETUP". Press TARE 2 times and then press ZERO 5 Times. After that press TARE and you should be all set.

This scale has a motion detection part to tare the scale that is WAY to sensitive. We own a bakery and this scale reads any movement we make. And we set the sensitivity to the lowest setting. So while we are weighing out somthing it will randomly tare. Cause us to start over. Waste of money, waste of labor.

Never use it. the charge doesn’t last more than a day, we just left it plugged in but it was in the way. so just used our other scales. The wave tare feature is super annoying and messed up things.

While we like the physical design of this scale (the size of the platform, the height above the counter level) we've had battery issues since the beginning. We'd have to fiddle with the position of the batteries all the time because we'd get false Low Battery messages. But now even new batteries won't work and we just get the Low Battery message. It still works when plugged in, but now it's use is severely limited in the kitchen by needing to be plugged in.
