Does this printer use an ink cartridge?
No, thermal printers do not use ink cartridges. They heat thermal printer paper as it passes through the printer head, turning the paper black in the areas where it is heated to create the print.
Check out the Software & Driver Download link under the Resources and Downloads section of this page. It includes all required software and drivers as well as detailing compatible operating systems.
Simultaneously press the on/off button and the number 7 button to enter the backfeed setting. The backfeed setting adjusts the label to the correct orientation upon printing. Once in the backfeed setup mode the backfeed function should show as disabled. Press 2 to enable printer backfeed. Once the setting has been changed, press enter and the scale will reboot automatically.
Thermal printers use a series of small pins, in conjunction with special heat-sensitive paper. For your convenience, this means there are no ink cartridges or ribbons to replace!

Waste of money. There is no software available to make programing this scale. It's going to take me weeks to hand enter up to 50 types of cheese and meat into this thing. Also the spacing on the label printer isn't set up properly out of the box.

ZERO star if i could NOT even one star Total crap ...useless , doesn't print correctly, out of alignment and total waste of time and money. They better give my money back for that crap .
