Avantco SS-UC-60R-HC 60" Stainless Steel ADA Height Undercounter Refrigerator

I started another new business last year and bought 4 Avantco refrigerators and 1 used 15yr old refrigerator. Guess which of these still works correctly. The insulation in Avantco refrigerator is not good enough and the temp controllers do not operate correctly. I store MILK and HALF AND HALF at 33F set point but this model and all others I purchased keep the temp at 39-42F. We loose alot of product because the shelf life is decreased. The units internal temp heats up quickly and the Avantco compressors do not turn on until the internal temp reaches 40F! The compressor then turns on and brings the air temp down to about 33F then immediately shuts off. It wont come back on until it hits 40F again which take about 30-50minutes! The fridge works well, after you have it serviced the first time. It cools great but doesn't kick back on until it gets to around 45 degrees inside, which doesn't pass health department inspections. The technician told me it's a very common problem to have and he changed a setting and replaced one part in about 20 minutes and it's worked fine ever since. (3 years ago).

Bought in November of 2019. So far so good! I got tired of buying top of the line Refridgeration only to have it crap out and cost an arm and a leg to repair. These are the type you use for 5 years and replace. Works for me.

This fridge is a great addition to our coffee shop. We use it under our espresso machine to hold milk, cream, steaming pitchers, and syrups. It's very spacious and keeps everything cold. Be sure to read the manual before messing with the temperature controls. It's easy to maintain and clean. It came with the shelves and clips. It's a little tall if your counters are ADA at 36" or lower. We had to take the wheels off and put it on sliders in order to fit it where we needed it. Thankfully that worked out well.

Great cooler for the price. Wish there was a temp gauge on the front. It's also kind of weird that there is a power switch in the back.
