It's powder-coated for weather-resistance, and it can be made even more sturdy with the addition of an optional concrete base (sold separately).
The steel exterior of this receptacle is easy to clean. It features a plastic pitch-in lid, which ensures that trash ends up inside the can and not on lid, while also concealing the trash from view. Plus, it's extremely easy to detach and reattach when it's time to empty the unit! This unit includes a compatible 28 gallon liner, which makes cleaning the inside of the receptacle easy.
