Rugged Construction

The high-impact and scratch-resistant polycarbonate material lets you easily see the bowl's contents. This way, you'll be able to monitor your products as they are being processed. Plus, the drive shaft is made of heavy-duty metal, so you know it's built to last.

Easy to Operate

There are three large push button controls: "On," "Off" and "Pulse." The food processor is set up with a safety interlock system, which prevents the unit from operating unless correctly assembled. To prevent the unit's motor from overheating, it also features an automatic reset switch. If your unit powers off during heavy use, simply turn the power switch off and unplug the power cord, allowing the unit to cool down for at least five minutes. Then, you can resume processing.

Build quality of this machine is not suitable for commercial use. The unit is flimsy. after just 6 months of usage which include dicing radishes once a week, the slinger broke. We were directed to go to a local service company to have it serviced even though it's clear what was wrong with it. The plastic used for slinger was low quality and didn't hold up. These guys kept the machine for weeks and finally told us that it is not covered under warranty. They said it is "normal wear and tear" and charged $60+ to replace the part. I will not be purchasing another Waring product. These machines do not have the durability to be used in commercial environment and they also don't have the support channels to back up their warranty. Stay away!

Product is not the best, wish we would have spent a little more for a better brand. • The dicing grid shreds tomatoes so they are all mush and juice, when we called Waring, they said they would look into a solution (even if it was buying different tomatoes) , then never responded. Obviously they don't have a solution. • The small batch bowl broke after 1 year of mild use, it doesn't latch on the base, so it will not turn on. A new batch bowl is way over priced.

Extremely disappointed. After reading the reviews on this site and speaking to the product specialists here, i purchased this machine. I liked the idea of an adjustable blade. It does not slice evenly as the blade moves in its housing. Tomatoes do not slice uniformly at all. Mushrooms do a little better. With the dicing option, the dice of carrots and parsnips is again very inconsistent in the size of the dice. Also, the entire machine moves as the dicing blade makes the entire unit top heavy, so as you pulse, the machine will bounce on the table. Using the s-blade to coarse chop cooked sausage did not work well either as the meat did not chop evenly even when using the pulse option. As a representative later explained to me, comparing this unit to a Robot Coupe is like comparing a more economical car to a more premium car. I would recommend not buying this machine. And, you can't return it.

I had high expectations from this product after reading the reviews. I wanted this machine mainly for dicing. Here are the pros and cons so you could decide on your own: Pros: - Good value for money - Dices/shreds etc. - Holding capacity is good. - Love the continuous feed feature Cons: - Low quality...the bowl and lid are made of hard plastic which can easy crack if slips from the prep table. - No storage box for parts - Dice accessory makes small size cubes. I hope they can sell more disc/blades of wider size. - Carrots or other hard items do get stuck in the blade while dicing and are a pain to clear. It feels like a souped up version of a food processor that you can buy from a home store.

We have had no problems at all with this processor. In fact, we purchased a smaller one that is still going strong after 9 years. We decided to add another that was a little larger. We use it when making desserts, sauces, dressings, soups, and even grating hard cheeses etc. Cleans up easily.

My kitchen staff LOVES this food processor! We use it to dice tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños for salsa. We also use it to dive carrots, but the blade does need to be taken out and rinsed every few bushels bc it gets covered in small wet carrot mash. Easy to use, disassemble and clean.

I bought this mainly to dice celery and onions - on a large scale. i see in the image here that celery stalks are being demonstrated but I must say, it doesn't work well for celery... after the first pass, you do get some nicely diced pieces but as you continue to feed more stalks in the dicing blade begins to clog as the celery doesn't always make it through and eventually you have a fully clogged plate that shoots out shreds and then also a lot of water. Unfortunately, it just didn't work as I'd hoped.

Would not purchase again. Worked for about 9 months of occasional use until the safety lock on the bowl broke. Still works with the continuous feed. Should have bought a Robot Coupe.

Thank you for your review, Sam! We are sorry this product has not worked well for you. A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon!

hardly used 2 to three-time The dicing attachments come with a space over the Oriental blade and the cover, which collects smaller and flat pieces of the vegetable and the machine stops working. I have open the layers of attachments to clear these pieces to start the machine again. I don't think the deicer is a perfect fit, Orly designed. I paid a lot of money for this feature and i is the most frustrating part of the machine. web restaurant customer service recommending to sell it online worst customer service, I will not be purchasing another Waring product. These machines do not have the durability to be used in a commercial environment and they also don't have the support channels to back up their warranty. Stay away!

I was using a standard home use food processor for my fledgling catering business when the machine finally succumbed to an agonizing demise. I have long been wanting a commercial processor but delayed the purchase because of the cost. Well, when my (wife's) machine died I was forced into a purchase. Having worked in food service for over 30 years, I've used many brands and models of food processors, but, now having to actually pay for one I wanted to get one that would suit my needs best for the foreseeable future. Having done my research, I chose the Waring WFP16SCD because it will perform the tasks I needed done plus a few that I may need in the future. The Webstaurant Store outpriced every other dealer I could find by over $20. So, less than a week before Christmas I ordered the machine and it arrived, to my absolute shock, in 2 days! I shredded 10 pounds of cheese just because I could. The Webstaurant Store is always the first place I look when I want to make a purchase nowadays.
