We purchased this because we were conducting an outside event in 100+ degree weather and we were worried the slushie machine would not be able to keep up. We added the insulating clip-on bowls and served ice cold slushies all afternoon. They had no ice build up or condensation and worked better than expected. Highly recommend if you are using your machine in a high temp area.

What a piece of garbage. We purchased a Vollrath granita machine after the generic Narvon one Webstaurant sells failed in a couple weeks. Webstaurant gave us full credit because their is apparently no service network for in-warranty failures. We spent extra for the Vollrath version becuase it offered these double-wall bowls - but they don't fit tightly and only exacerbate the condensate freezing problem by directing ice buildup right to the pour spout - causing plastic pieces to break off regularly. Don't waste your money on the machine or these bowls.
