This rethermalizer features induction technology to ensure it only gets hot when an induction-ready inset is placed inside. It has 800W of heating power to make sure it can reheat your stored food quickly, and advanced solid state controls let you choose from a variety of settings and set temperatures to get the best heat for your food.
The interior contains three temperature sensors that have direct contact with the inset to provide accurate temperature information to help prevent burning, and an LED indicator lets you know when the inset's contents need to be stirred. This rethermalizer comes equipped with Vollrath's contemporary lid, which features an attractive mirror finish stainless steel construction, a permanently welded handle that doubles as a kickstand, and a practical notched slot for holding serving utensils. The lid features no-friction tabs for easy removal during cleaning and refilling. And, thanks to its versatile design, this rethermalizer is optimized for wet or dry use.

Works well until it doesn't. Eventually what happens is the screen will stay lit but when your hit on, screen just flickers and wont get up to temperature. your thought would be it would last longer and be better quality then this!

These work great, until they don't. I keep 4 for holding back up soup, I'd say an average of 3 fail every year. Usually, the liner cracks, but we've also had the potentiometer's konk out on 2. They just aren't sturdy enough for the demands of a busy kitchen.

One of the best purchased from this store the ability if this machine to heat the gravy or soup without worrying about the water as it is no water needed.

Very disappointed in the quality of this item for the price. I was using these in a self serve operation so I removed the big sticker that says do not add water. When I did. The paint peeled off of the unit. When I brought it to the manufacturers attention, they were like too bad, you weren't suppised to remove that sticker. Do you want a new sticker? Seriously?
