This is a replacement for one of our lids that were cracked. The price is great, the lid is a thick plastic. When its busy we turn it over so it slides on and off quickly. The indents make it easy to pick up.

Nice thick clear polycarbonate lid. You can easily see what's in the pan without having to open it. I ordered 10 without the notch, but two came with the notch, and four of them were just loose in the box. However I didn't notice any scratches. I mostly use the clear ones for cold food.

The Vigor Food Pan Lids are a Great product! I ordered these in conjunction with the Vigor 1/6 Food Pan. They fit perfectly and make food prep and storage easy. The lids work great in our steam drawer for holding food hot.

I don't like these lids. The edges are curved up in a way that is more obnoxious that useful. I suppose it might help if you wanted to stack them. It's bulky and feels like it takes up more room than it should.

There are additional groves to make handle, for easy gripping. The lid doesn't let you see in the container but can protect food from UV rays if the food is sensitive.
