This Vesture OvenTech heating element provides an excellent portable heating solution for keeping food warm during transportation. Great for pizza delivery, catered lunches, and company picnics, it offers a convenient cordless design and maintains a temperature of 220 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 1 hour. This provides plenty of time to get your food where it needs to go while ensuring that it remains at the ideal serving temperature so your guests are safe and satisfied. It can also be used as an outdoor hot plate to keep sitting food warm.
This heating element features a core made of phase change material and is wrapped in a heat-resistant Teflon® sleeve. Preparing the heating element couldn't be simpler. Just place it in a conventional oven pre-heated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, then immediately place it in the desired container along with your food, making sure to use oven mitts or other hand protection when removing it from the oven. This effective tool boasts a slim design, which allows it to fit alongside or underneath food containers in virtually any food or catering delivery bag.

I utilize this item to deliver around 1000 Meals on Wheels meals per day. This is the only product on the market that works like this and fits in the tote bags, but they don't stay hot for very long, and it seems the packaging has changed in the last couple of years. We've had a number of them open up and the element falls out. For the cost of these, I would expect it to be fort knox and it should for sure stay hot for quite some time. They stay WARM, but don't retain heat as well as it really needs to. However, being as this is what is available, we manage. It's definitely better than the tiny heat packs and certainly more affordable than the ones that have to be plugged in, when we are sending out 75 routes per day.
