Taylor 5839N Digital 4 Channel 10 Hour Commercial Kitchen Timer

I have read all the reviews on this timer and they ALL are correct. It IS a good timer until it starts to flake out. We lost sensitivity on the #1 button first, then one day it just started beeping (had to take the batteries out). Put new batteries in and it worked again for about another month. Just yesterday it was timing and froze! (we lost a batch of fries!) Put new batteries in again thinking it would help, it timed 1 item and now nothing works! It is a great little 4 event timer, and I guess you get what you pay for. It's still a whole lot cheaper than spending a ton on a real one! So I guess spending a little bit every other year on a timer will just have to work for us :) (I will buy a backup one now, because when you loose your timer in a busy restaurant.....well.....you know what happens)

I purchased this timer on March 3, 2016. The + button for the minutes has already stopped working, which makes it useless for me. What a waste of money. I will not be ordering this timer again!

We bought two of these timers and we're so happy with them very loud and accurate. Until I'm one the stop button stopped working and on the other the minute Plus button stopped working I don't think I will buy the same one I think I'm going to buy the Step Up

We purchased this timer almost 2 year ago, but it is now broken. The buttons have stopped working, a common occurrence with this item based on the reviews. Also, the door covering the batteries is flimsy. It is overall durable, but only has a one year warranty. Not built to last unfortunately.

Taylor makes great timers. I use these everyday and it works perfect. Very easy to set the time and it remembers the time so that way you can keep cooking.

This is a great timer and works well... until it doesn't. My business has gone through about 6 of these in the last two years. It gets very heavy use but it is not abused and it still malfunctions routinely. But since they're so cheap, we just end up disposing of the broken one and replacing it with a new one. Again, when it works, it really works well. But it will definitely break on you eventually.

I don’t know how but by barely putting any pressure on the screws that hold the battery cover on the back… it broke the screw hole. It’s still holding together but I was very surprised it happened just out of the box. Surely that breaking doesn’t speak much about this product’s functionality but it for sure is a weak type of plastic. Treat with extreme care. I fear that if it falls it might shatter easily. Doesn’t inspire confidence in it being labeled a “Commercial”

This time works as it should. Having multiple timers is a great feature to have in a busy kitchen environment. I highly recommend this timer.

Purchased two of these timers over a year ago and they are incredibly durable. They’ve gotten wet and work perfectly. They’re intuitive and easy to use. Also, the adjustable volume goes from almost silent to extremely loud which is perfect for noisy environments such as our.

We absolutely love these - especially the feature that we can turn down the volume so it doesn't squawk so awful loud that you can hear it in the dining room.

Kitchen times is nice and loud. Being able to control the volume is nice. Only thing i wasnt a fan of was not really having a easy memory function on the time. But it works well!

Looking for a heavy duty timer for your commercial kitchen. This one stands heads and shoulders above all other timers out there, and it is a great price.

We have 1/2 dozen timers, and this is the one everyone fights over. It has a loud timer, so if you are in a different room, you can hear it.

Great timer, easy to set and keep eye on multiple different things cooking st once. Can be set very loud so wherever you are in the building it can be heard. Have multiple of these, cant be beat for the price. Only complaint is the quietest setting is still loud
