Maintain ultra-low temperatures for laboratory specimens, vaccines, and antibiotics in your facility with this Summit Appliance ultra-low temperature chest freezer. This unit offers 11.1 cu. ft. of storage space and can be set between -50 and -86 degrees Celsius, while extra thick 4 1/2" insulation helps keep cooling efficient and stable. More than eight layers of D-shaped cooling pipes line the interior walls to increase contact with the freezer walls for maximum insulation and efficiency. Five removable inner lids add protection from ambient air when the outer lid is opened, and the counterbalanced hinges hold the lid open once it is lifted past a 45-degree angle for easier loading and unloading.

The front-mounted digital thermostat provides precise temperature management, and the display can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit. A high / low temperature alarm sounds if the interior goes outside the set range. The factory-installed keyed lock on the handle helps secure your contents, and two keys are included.

The steel interior features a white finish for easy visibility, and the manual defrost operation uses static cooling to keep the interior stable. A front-located drain makes defrosting more convenient, while the hermetically sealed compressor reduces maintenance in busy facilities. Four casters, including two front locking casters, are included for moving the unit when cleaning. This unit requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
