Prep cheese more quickly with this versatile Somerset SCS-150 8 lb. capacity electric cheese shredder! This shredder accepts cheese blocks up to 8 lb. and 11" long, and it shreds more than 25 lb. per minute. A 3-speed variable-speed system lets you adjust the shredding performance for soft or hard cheeses and produces short, long, thick, or thin strands. This flexibility allows it to handle a variety of cheeses and shredding requirements.
The unit comes fully assembled with a 3/16 " blade and cheese box shelf. Built for commercial use, it features a durable, compact stainless steel construction, 4 casters for easy mobility, and tool-free disassembly and reassembly for quick cleanup. Powered by a heavy-duty 2 hp motor, it requires a 220V 1-phase connection and is ideal for pizzerias, Mexican restaurants, bakeries, and other commercial kitchens.
