The weight on this tape dispenser is good, however the teeth for cutting the tape are definitely designed for scotch tape not masking tape so therefore it doesn’t cut it very well. The wheel is also kind of loose and floats in the housing. I wish I went with something a little bit better.

Very well made tape dispenser. We were not as pleased with the tape #561MT75 that we purchased with it. The tape does not stick well. Great price and deal form Webstaurantstore.

Pretty standard tape dispenser. It is weighted and has foam pads on the base to help it not slip or scratch your surfaces. Any tapes with 3" diameter rolls up to 1" wide will fit. My only concern is the durability of the pegs on the spindle, but currently everything is functioning perfectly.

This tape dispenser is incredible. It’s heavy so it doesn’t move around a lot and the tape cutter is sharp so it can be used fast.
Dispenser was damaged in transit, and the sand (that acts as the weight inside?) leaked out inside the box. And we weren't able to put it back together because of the sand being in the groove where the pieces join. We had to toss it without even using it.

DO NOT BUY THIS. This thing is a piece of junk. Do not purchase it. The teeth are absolutely useless. It does not cut the tape and it will make your life harder.

I ordered this tape dispenser and it came in with sand in the box and sand spilling out of the product. Since this was defective, this company sent me a replacement as soon as I alerted them to the issue. The replacement came in and did not have any issues with it. The weight is heavy enough that you can easily tear the tape away one handed and not worry about knocking over or moving the dispenser. This is exactly what I was looking for! The skid pads on the bottom of the dispenser keeps it in place when pulling the tape off of the roll and keeps it from scratching any surface you may have it on.
Other reviewers are correct. The masking tape continually falls out of the dispenser when pulling the tape completely defeating the purpose of having this dispenser. I'd look for another brand or product as it's much easier to just cut the tape by hand.

Paired this 3" masking tape dispenser with some general purpose masking tape rolls found from webstaurant. All I can say is that it has met our expectations & is a super great value.

A really nice 3" masking tape dispenser that is great for all style jobs. The dispenser is a great way to tape packages and presents hands free and make the process go quicker.
This is a typical masking tape dispenser. Easy to load and is very sturdy. Holds up well to commercial kitchen use and we have yet to have a problem with it.
I mean to give the item four stars, but for some reason the rating interface is only stuck at one star. Technical glitch at the website? I love the weight and stability of the masking tape dispenser. It's easy to rip off the tape without dragging the whole dispenser along, and the tape roll isn't wobbly. One of my favorite things about using it is that I can put a Sharpie at the back of the dispenser. The reason I give the item four instead of five stars is that just a tad more space in the back would allow the Sharpie in the back to sit more comfortably when the tape is full.
The piece that holds the tape is not heavy enough for masking tape. Every time you pull on it to tear it, the whole roll comes out
