Upon receiving this in the mail, I was determined to hate this thing. I like to research the heck out of any new equipment and I was never consulted for this purchase. When I put it together I kept quipping, “How much did you pay for this?!?” To me, this was 6 sheets of thin metal with a simple heating element on the inside perimeter. “What? This thing doesn’t even take water?!! It’s just a toaster oven heating element surrounding the can!” Begrudgingly, I took it to an event to dip our ice cream bars on location and I gotta say, I give in. I was wrong. This thing is great! This item is very overpriced and poorly made. Not worth the price, and takes up too much room. If you want to try one out, find a used one. It is super flimsy stainless steel with a cheaply made heating element.

Does not do a good job warming up the dips. We have to warm the dips in hot water and then transfer them to this, which totally defeats the purpose of buying this over hot fudge warmers that we use to warm up the dips. We just recently opened for the season and wanted to return the item, however we were not allowed to as we were a week past the return period (we just opened so we didn't have a need to use it just yet), so now we're stuck with a piece of equipment that we're just going to replace anyway.
