The glass is very elegant with a thin stem and beadless rim. It feels delicate and like it could break without careful handling, but that is the nature of thin stemware. The curve of the top of the bowl reminds me a little of 1970's styling, but in an elegant way. I'm glad I ordered a sample of this and others from the line before buying a case. They are nice glasses, but getting to see and feel it in person helps when picking stemware. I really appreciated the delicate feel and clean styling. They are very nice coupe glasses
