I use my MP450 Combi for about 6 hours a day about 3 days a week. I use mostly the whisk attachment. I mix a hot very viscous product. In other words, i abuse it. I have found the bell housing gears will wear out every 6-9 months or so. And the mixer itself will last about a year, maybe a bit more than a year. I've tried getting the mixer repaired, it is usually the control board that needs replaced. A repaired blender typically lasts only days or at best a few weeks. It is easier, and cheaper, the just replace. I've also tried replacing the gears in the bell housing. Again, not worth it. Ive tried competitors mixers. Dont bother. All in all, a tough little machine. And i keep buying them.
