These solid shelves are convenient for storing loose items that may slip through the cracks of wire shelves and are great for helping prevent leaking packages from contaminating products on lower shelves. Each solid stainless steel shelf can hold up to 700 lb. of evenly distributed weight, and each chrome wire shelf can hold up to 600 lb. of evenly distributed weight. This Regency baker's rack not only makes a great storage solution, but it also makes a versatile work station with (1) included 18" deep hardwood cutting board insert, making it ideal for a variety of tasks, including chopping vegetables and fruits, prepping batters, and providing your staff with additional workspace.
For additional overhead storage, (1) 12" x 48" chrome wire cantilever shelf is included, which can accommodate up to 150 lb. of weight, making it great for storing paper products, linens, cooking utensils, and spices. It features a retaining ledge around the perimeter to prevent its contents from sliding off. For even more space efficiency, this baker's rack includes (1) 18" chrome hanger rail and (6) 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" large chrome snap-on J-hooks that are fully adjustable to accommodate textiles, pots, pans, and serving utensils, creating an overhead storage solution without drilling into the wall.
Assembly is made quick and easy by utilizing the included split sleeves per shelf and the (2) 34" chrome posts and (2) 64" chrome posts included in this kit. Simply snap the two sides of the sleeve together at one of the incrementally spaced notches and slide the corner ring of the shelf over the sleeve. If you later wish to reconfigure the shelves, it's as easy as removing the sleeves and repositioning them as you see fit.
