With the 100% polyester 150 denier outer shell, this jacket has a water-repellant and wind-tight finish. The insulation also uses 100g of AirBlaze polyester, which boasts a 10 degrees Fahrenheit comfort rating. This will keep the wearer warm during long shifts in the cooler or in moderate winter conditions. To further ensure warmth retention, the jacket has a full-zip zipper with a snap-close storm flap and a fleece-lined, stand-up collar. There are also rib knit cuffs that keep wind from entering through the sleeves.
For durability, the stress points of the jacket are reinforced with nickel rivets that will prevent damage from daily, rigorous use. Along the sleeves and pockets there are abrasion-resistant panels, which keep these commonly snagging points intact. To improve the visibility of the jacket, it has strategically placed reflective piping along the arms and pockets.
