This waffle cone forming tool was a very good purchase. It makes it easy to make a quality rolled cone. It does take some getting used to. It helps to place the waffle as far back on the former as possible and to start pushing it through the curved shape about halfway before using the roller to make the best cone.

This shaper is extremely heavy! The spinning tool is almost like a big rock/stone, it's not user friendly especially when you need to make waffle cones in bulk.

Gave this rating because of defects in the Cone Forming Tool. I purchased this Carnival King waffle cone forming tool based on other customer reviews and was terribly disappointed!! The first arrived with a chip in the rolling area. After, excellent customer service in receiving a replacement; it arrived just as flawed as the first one, by having part of the covering on the handle missing that appears to be nothing more than black tape of some sort (shown in photo). Clearly, this seller has no appreciation for quality control to send this to a customer. I won't waste Customer Service or my time to ask for another replacement but will put both in the donation box and repurchase a quality product from elsewhere. Although, the Webstaurant gave prompt and courteous customer support.

I was surprised at how wide it makes the cones. It works well, but we put 5-6oz scoops in it (which I feel is pretty big for a scoop) and it makes them look small. I will be looking for a smaller tool.

this is the best tool for making waffle cones. it has saved me a lot of time and not as many burnt fingers. I would recommend this tool to anyone that is making waffle cones

I decided to start rolling my own waffle cones and WOW am I glad I did. This makes the job so easy and fast. We do 100's of cones a week if not more.

Waffle forming tool worked great - you definitely need to get it on there quickly though and get them rolled. it did take some practice to get the bottom closed up on the cone.

Study Product. It is easy to roll up; however, the end of the cone is difficult to seal. (I am sure that come with practice)

Makes good sized cones but the metal retains heat so it gets extremely hot to the touch. Also cones will stick inside of them if you leave them to cool/harden inside and you have to break the cones to get them out and then wash the equipment. The roller is of heavy weight which is nice but weighs the molding part so you have to lean against it and the counter to keep it from tipping over

As a home cook, I started making my own waffle cones from time to time, as a fun way to DIY ice cream cones along with my homemade ice cream. My fingers can't deal with the hot waffles coming off the iron though, so shaping them around the cone form is hard to do. I saw this style of waffle cone forming tool at a local ice cream store and thought it was genius. Finally bought one for myself, and it works great. I'm still working out where's the best spot to slide the fresh waffle so I can create a cone with no leaks, but it makes the shaping of the cone really easy (and I can drop a marshmallow or chocolate chip in the bottom of the cone to reduce leaks). The actual cone tool is surprisingly hefty and does a good job of helping to cool the hot waffles.

This is our second waffle cone forming tool. They both work as advertised and hold up well to multiple uses. Makes a a cone with one side lower than the other so you can see into the cone to view the ice cream.

Takes awhile to get the hang of forming waffle cones with this forming tool, but it is easier than forming it yourself. The tool makes the cones a bit wide so I had a hard time making cones without a big hole on the bottom

Very affordable for what we needed, there is a learning curve though and if you want the bottom/tip of the cone to completely close you will need to practice to get the right positioning in order to make sure there isn't a hole in the cone.

We use this cone forming tool to form our waffle cones. It works well, but sometimes it can be tricky to close the point of the cone. The tool is a little flimsy. Overall it gets the job done.

This is a must have tool if you're making waffle cones. We used a waffle cone forming tool that we had to roll with our hands and that was no fun as waffle cones are very hot. Using this tool is so easy, quick, and consistent that I don't know I didn't order one sooner.

Simple, worked just as well as my old one .This one is pretty and perfect size to use with my electric cone maker. It's functional, it works well, and I'm glad I bought it.

The Carnival King waffle cone forming tool exceeds our expectations. We were a little nervous about making our own waffle cones at first, but within a few minutes of using this we feel like pros!

Mandrel stopped working properly after a few days. Mandrel is heavy but seems to have a problem rolling the cones after a few uses. We now use only the other half with a Plastic cone former. Another issue with the former is it makes cones with wide opening so just one scoop looks miserable in it. The minimum scoop for cones made with this former that would look great is two to three scoops

This tool allows us to create perfect waffle cones for our ice cream products. The lip on the end makes it not slide around the table

This is good to make large ice cream cones !! Very large cones I order this by mistake but it works pretty good if you want to make a cone with 3 or more scoops !!

This product seems to be very good quality, the forming tool is also heavy, even though you can handle it with no issues. I bought it with a waffle cone maker not knowing that a forming tool was included on it.

The product is really smooth. Unlike the other waffle cones makers I had. They would not be smooth when I turned it it would be hard to tur and make a decent waffle cone
