It's a great little fryer that is perfect for a food truck. The pilot is a bit annoying to light, only because you essentially have to lay on the floor and hold down the button for almost a minute. It is a bit light and will move around while the truck is moving, but that happens with most equipment. It's better that it's small and light just to be able to get it into the truck, since securing it is relatively easy. I did have a 200,000 BTU regulator on the propane tank, and with nothing else running, this fryer had a hard time staying lit. I switched to a bigger regulator and had no issues ever since.

not good quality, gas block breaks quickly, they say it has a warranty, but it is never given to the customer again. too expensive !

Wow! This fryer is about as cheaply made as it gets. It came with 2 dents that are rusted right out of the box. The oil basin is made of cheap metal not stainless steel. The outside of the WHOLE UNIT gets extremely hot! All the parts that needed assembly were very difficult to line up in which they barely did. Had to modify a this to make it work. Absolute garbage! I will think twice before I order from webstaurant again! Maybe I shouldn't compare this to my other fryer that was made very well for less.

I bought two of these fryers and neither of the would get the pilot light to stay lit. Went through Ready Warranty in Nov 2023 until July 2024 before they Webstaurant finally decided to over ride Ready Warranty and give me credit for the broken fryers so I could replace them. I put the difference in price and bought two Advantco fryers. Thanks Webstaurant for your assistance how ever please use a different warranty company in the future.

The pilot no gas turn on at all what can I do please help

So far I am pleased with it. It was easy to hook up and verily easy to light. I used it for the first time last weekend and it worked as it should.

This 100 lb fryer is the best! Never have to worry about ticket times anymore since I can fit plenty of fries at once! The pilot lights right up and heats up super quick!

I purchased this fryer for my mobile unit when I was first setting it up. By the time I got everything finished and tried to start it, the warranty had run out (30 days-what a joke). I purchased an extended warranty for the product but it was not honored, again because it was a mobile unit. Even though they refunded me the warranty, that doesn’t even cover 1 hour of labor to repair it. The pilot light won’t stay lit, there’s no high limit thermostat to reset and I’ve tried a new thermocouple. It doesn’t matter if you push the button in for 30 seconds or five minutes, it won’t stay lit. Now I have to spend almost as much as I paid to purchase the unit to get it fixed. I spent a lot with Webstaurant getting setup and they dismissed me very quickly over this expensive fryer. Not impressed with the customer service. It will probably be worth more as scrap metal than it’s worth for cooking french fries.

I bought two of these, they do the job but 9 months in I've had to change out the thermopile on one and as someone else already stated is you basically have to lay in floor to light, it takes a bit to get it lit. For the price of a new thermopile, I'll probably take a chance and buy this again.

Good equipment for the price well built however i did order two of them and it seems that they are mass produced and some are not the same. Sheet metal doesnt line up perfectly in some spots as the other does.

Came very tightly packaged. Very nice looking unit, I have not tried it as of yet and have not installed it yet. I will update when I have more info.

Do not buy this fryer horrible brand new pilot will light but will not turn burners on. Was told to call warranty company they said no warranty because it is hook to portable propane bottle. So the extra 2 year warranty we got is no good. Call customer service back suppose to replace it within 30 days of purchase, told them don’t have all of original packaging was told could not return it. Save yourself the loss of 600 dollars don’t buy this piece of crap

DONT BUY THIS- DEFECTIVE , hasnt worked even one time for us, the pilot dosent stay on, after multiplem time we managed to loght the pilot , ans soon we turned up the thermostat the flame & pilot keeps going off, contacted webrstaurant store ...they say contact wraanty department to raise an claim, I dont have time to do all these

Not working out of the box. Pilot wont stay lit. I like so many here have had this issue. Push in pilot to manually lit pilot. Waited up to 2min even. Wont stay lit when turning to On position. Useless. Don't bother.

The pilot lights but it will not turn on. The warranty company is a joke it's been over a month....

Have had these on my food trailer for over a year now and they haven't let me down yet. Somewhat difficult to clean due to the narrow slots, with the right tools you can get the job done. Have handled fries, onion rings and hand breaded chicken with these fryers. Recover quickly and don't use a lot of propane.

I purchased 10 of these Main street fryers in 2021 worked for awhile. Now it blows out when reaches temp. I have 8 pitco since 2016 Never a problem. Also I paid $1200 now there are $750

I buy 2 of them I did a install everything as required following instructions work 2 time good 3rd time use fryer have issue with hard time turn on fryer turn off during hose tech arrive advise me different hose purchase again new hose still same issue call agian tech tell me this fryer is not good and warranty people void warranty not good product never buy again from web restaurant website and my equipment working warranty with ready Kitchen customer service not even listening issue unprofessional staff.

By far this is the worst fryer ever, poor quality, worked for couple of weeks then started giving me trouble, it was installed by a professional, he have installed all my other fryers and nothing wrong with them but this one is trash. Do not buy it’s not worth the money or headache it’s cheap crap spend more and get better quality, I should’ve listened to the reviews but I said I’ll give it a chance but nope never again. Trust me do not buy this crap

If I could give a lower star I would. I have a small startup catering company, I purchased 6 of the fryers, one of them went down on my first job. 7 months later I have only used them 6 or 7 times, they all are now broken, and I have No support from their so-called help desk. My next step is calling the better business bureau. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I bought 2 of these, and installed in my food trailer, after 6 months 1 quit working. It would light but after 20-30 minutes it would shut off. I replaced the thermopile and still won't work properly. Now pilot won't even light, was told it would be cheaper to buy a new then repair that one. As for the other one no issues, works great! You get what you pay for I guess.

The unit I received is amazing. It was not cheaply made and fired up like a champ. The 5 burners crank out enough heat to do 2 bags of fries without heat loss. You can do have a case of fries but I do notice a little heat loss when over crowding it. I used it at festivals and the oil basin seemed like stainless steel along with the sides. When I pull it back out in a couple months, if there is rust or any issues I will update the review. For right now I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase. For the price how can you complain?

I bought two units to build my food truck. They are new, never been plugged in. But the warranty period has passed. And one of them unfortunately does not keep the pilot light lit. I tested it and it's not the thermocouple. I was very sad, because I no longer have the right to assistance. How was equipment sold without working? Now I don't know if I should buy a new valve or not. I was a bit disappointed with that.

Arrived not damaged and ready to be abused and put to work. Cannot wait to be cooking with these. Very nice to have covers that are made for product also- will be used in a food truck and would not want grease slopping around the trailer!

Fryer came just as expected , light weight , easy to filter and clean grease

This is a beast! It’s kept up with our demand and hasn’t had any problems in the 4 months we’ve had it in heavy use!
