The battery has a multi-layer contact interface to help ensure a constant connection between the tool and the battery, even during rigorous or high-vibration use. The impact-resistant casing on the battery paired with a shock-absorbent inner liner helps stop the battery from receiving damage when dropped or hit against other objects.
