While the maximum capacity of this vertical broiler is 65 lb., the recommended cooking capacity for best results is between 10 to 45 lb. To give you total control over cooking, this broiler boasts a unique adjustable skewer and a convenient automatic slip clutch that stops the skewer's rotation during slicing for quick and easy carving. It also features adjustable heat shields that maintain operator comfort and allow for faster cooking to maximize efficiency and reduce energy costs.

Great broiler. My complaint is that I ordered this over a holiday weekend. I requested to cancel the order the following business day. The website (they've since reworded it) said 'Please allow up to six weeks for this item to arrive'. I needed it sooner but after doing further research, I would rather have had a regular 110 unit w/gas so I'd have more flexibility regarding location. The order was 'In Process' when I requested the cancellation and in the two days they asked for to request the return, it magically shipped. So now, for me to return it, it would be a THIRTY PERCENT restocking fee PLUS shipping back. Doesn't feel right to me. Next time I'll just order from the jungle even if it means paying a little more.

This is a great broiler for making authentic kabobs. Easy to use and gets hot fairly fast. Nice size can cook and warm a lot of meat.
