This filter seemed like a godsend at first. Smaller, lighter, and easier than our previous frymaster— this seemed to have it all. Not to mention no paper filters! Unfortunately... it wasn’t as good as it seemed. Within a few weeks of filtering every day, we found lots of sediment that passed through the filter mesh in to the bucket. The oil that comes out is cloudy, the fine particulate sediment mixed in with it, and later it can be scooped up from the bottom of the “clean” fryer. The basket is a bottleneck that overflows when you first start to empty your fryer in to it. Not to mention, there’s a screaming hot metal joint situated right above the cord organizer. Perfect spot to burn the top of your hand. Really disappointing. I wasted money on this less than 6 months ago— and I’m just going to buy a better one now. Extremely disappointing, not recommended.

This fryer filter has made our lives at the restaurant so much easier. That is a huge savings. We are so happy to have added this product to our restaurant. The simplicity and ease of use is perfect for our high volume kitchen's pace.

It's a decent unit, but i definitely bought the wrong size. Have had to replace the filter bag 2x since purchase - but they are fairly affordable. Wish it was a little more low-profile, but has served its purpose.

when i first got the machine it worked great was very happy with the machine. After a month i saw it was leaking oil at the hose connector i saw where it had a bad o-ring i could not find the part in the manual so i asked the guys that works on my equipment and he too could not find it so he called the company and they sent a o-ring which was by far the wrong one since then i need to put a catch can or towels under the machine to catch the oil that leaks so iam dissapointed in the service after the sale thank you barry

The oil filtering system works well, it takes the place of the large tub I remembered from 30 years ago. I wished the basket for collection was a little larger.
