Help prevent shelving units from toppling over in earthquakes with this Metro seismic shelving base plate kit. This base plate kit is designed to be used with Super Erecta and MetroMax shelving units. Included with this kit is everything required for installation. It includes two base plates, four clevis pins, four cotter pins, two seismic labels, and two SES label holders. With all necessary components included and no drilling required, this base plate kit is easy to install and level. The rectangular base plates included in this kit are chromate-plated for impressive longevity. Each base plate features an easy-to-clean, low-profile design with two post sockets.

This 2-post, 5-bolt design allows flexibility to work around the rebar. The base plates are shaped for optimum support while minimizing their footprint to create more storage space and reduce potential trip hazards. This kit helps create end-to-end / back-to-back configurations. The seismic labels and label holders allow a concise understanding of the shelving limits to be conveyed. This base plate kit has earned pre-approval from the Department of Healthcare Access and Information (HCAI) for new construction in the state of California, subject to California building codes. It will help provide secure shelving in seismic zones.
