I searched and ordered from a typical consumer websites for the bigger chop house steak knives. It cost more and was never the wider blade and heavier handle I wanted. Now I have a set for the family BBQ steak gatherings. I was able to run the knives through an industrial-hot washing machine. I am happy report the knives came out perfect with out any damage to the handles.
